Guessing Signs

I'm in love with astrology, and one of my hobbies in learning it is to try and guess the charts of people whose charts I don't know from the things they say in their LJs.

So
tubewalker I'd expect to have something prominent in Cancer or Pisces and a well aspected Moon. Other prominent featurs of the chart may be a strong Neptune or a Taurus/Libran aspect (

Sun in Cancer conjunct Jupiter, Moon in Gemini, Ascendant Scorpio with Uranus on the Ascendant.
Scorpio Ascendant- keywords for Scorpio are power, secrecy, the hidden, the shadow. With a Scorpio ascendant (and a Cancer Sun) this makes you a very emotional person, with a great depth and intensity of feeling. You are probably drawn towards that in life which is secretive and hidden and like a forensics person you want to explore this shadow side, and are attracted by it.

You are probably rather secretive, and screen people thoroughly before letting them into your world - prefer watching to being perceived.

Ultimately Scorpio (and Pluto, and the 8th House) is about power and transformation, destruction and re-birth and in order to use these energies creatively it is best if they are harnessed rather than dissipated in paranoia, jealousy and posessiveness.

Uranus on the Ascendant - very often this makes a person seek out perfection, and people can be ruthless while seeking it because Uranus gives a great conviction of one's vision being as Truth, as well as capacity for great clarity of vision (interestingly many dictators seem to have Uranus Ascending, most famously Hitler).

With Scorpio rising, deep emotional invovlement and intimacy is important, as is maintaining emotional security. You are likely to feel motivated to explore and plumb the depths of your own emotional spectrum- everything from love to hate.

Sun Jupiter- Jupiter enlarges whatever it touches, and when it touches the Sun (one's own sense of identity) it leads to people who can seem larger-than-life imbued with an innate sense of optimism and ability to go happy-go-lucky skipping around the world with a conviction that bills will somehow pay themselves and everything will work out in the end. ;) From a positive side - Jupiter conjunct Sun in Cancer can make you a very generous, big hearted, caring person from the downside it can make you overextend yourself, and overestimate yourself, as well as be foolish, rash, gamble and so on.

Gemini Moon- Gemini is about communication and the Moon is your own inner nature, and therefore your sense of security probably is tied into feeling like you can talk with somebody.
