Right now, and this is after the calming effects of three beers, I would like to do just that. I am enlisted, I appreciate what those men (my friends do). I will always appreciate that. I will always respect my NCO's no matter how much I may not like them. That being said, I cannot believe I had to sit through an hour and a half of bullshit from a bunch of shitbags blaming their shortcomings on good NCO's. Now that said I, by no means am an admirer of the NCO's in question. I respect them and would even like to earn theirs. Their styles are similar to my own, and that being said they ride me harder than most of the other cadets.... as I do myself. But absolutely cannot belive that a room full of future Lts had the balls to sit there for an hour and a half and blame their problems on NCO's.
NCO's can make or break an LT.... NCO's are what I strive to please, I could care less about a LTC or a 1star, I want to be an officer so that I can serve the enlisted and make them proud to work under me. An NCO is not someone who simply gets a job, they have to work hard to get anything in their life. How can a cadet whose only "service" has been to go off to camp claim to have the skill to evaluate an NCO? How the hell can a cadet who is not worth a shit say an NCO is a problem. Most of the NCO's around have more experience in their field than an officer could hope to accumulate in twice the amount of time. Its just beyond me that a fucking wannabe can critique and defame the real thing.
That said if you are a shitbag, get your act together cause I will have no loss for busting your ass if I ever get the chance
