What was the highlight of 2012 for you?
Obtaining clarity.
Did you lose any friends?:
Yes.
What about gain any?:
I'd say I'd gain some acquaintances.
What did you do for your birthday?:
I was given a surprise birthday party. That I already knew about.
How old did you turn?:
30.
In your opinion, was this a good year for music?:
New Big Wreck album, new Metric, new Mumford & Sons. Ugh. Yes.
Did you move at all?:
For the third year in a row!
How are you different now from the beginning of the year?:
I will probably say this over and over again, but I've gained clarity and perspective through my treatment. And I feel amazing.
Did you get in any serious trouble?:
No.
Did you read any good books?:
I read the entire Hunger Games series. And Fifty Shades of Grey, which was NOT good.
What did you do in the summer?:
Visited Michelle and Tony in New Jersey with Sam, Kate and the kids.
Did you go to any concerts? If so, which ones?:
The Trews, Big Wreck, and The Tea Party. I met the bands or lead singers at every one of them.
Has your looked changed? If so, how?:
I cut my hair, got highlights, let them grow out and darkened it. Again. Although I haven't dyed it in months, so I'm hoping to see my natural color again in the next few months.
Did you date anyone?:
No.

Was 2012 a sad or happy year for you?:
Only really some drama caused by a falling out with a friend, otherwise, I had a pretty great year.
Would you have done things differently at all?:
No.

Well, I would have kept my mouth shut a bit more at times.
Did you have a job or were you unemployed?:
Still happily with Nixon Peabody.
Did you dress up for Halloween? If so, as what?:
A ladybug.
If you celebrate Christmas, what did you get?:
Some much stuff this year. Mainly comfy PJ pants, hoodies, and so on.
Did you search for eggs on Easter?:
I do not.
Did you see fireworks on the Fourth of July?:
Yes. With Dan and Marcey on Grand Island. Saw some wish lanterns too.
If you go, did you skip a lot of school?:
Not in school.

"Wolves" by Big Wreck.
Do you think this year went by super fast?:
Somewhat.
Did you get your haircut this year?:
Twice, I think.
Do you remember how you brought in 2012? As in, celebrated?:
I went away to Washington DC and spent it with Jeremy in the old apartment.
How did you bring in 2013?:
In my pajamas at Brandi's after we spent 4 hours at the spa.
Did you kiss anyone when the ball dropped?:
No.
Are you looking forward to anything in 2013? If so, what?:
Same things as last year since they didn't happen this year - Dan will get engaged and Michelle will get pregnant. For me, continued happiness. And maybe meeting someone.
If you could describe this year in one word, what would it be?:
Clarity.

I had a nasty falling out with a good friend.

Either "Albatross" by Big Wreck or "Synthetica" by Metric. Or maybe "Babel" by Mumford & Sons.

Not too crazy. Just the usual BS.
Are you glad 2012 is over?:
I always say it but i always appreciate new years. It's a clean slate.
Overall, was 2012 a good year for you?:
Yes. I had continued improvement with my health and feel great. I enjoyed a good amount of traveling. I endured some rough patches in friendships, but moved onward and upward. All in all, a good year. Let's hope this trend continues.
