An ear for accents.

I came home from work a few nights ago to find Thad playing a game on his phone while watching CSI: NY. It was an episode that had a magician in it.

"Is that Chriss Angel?" Thad eventually asks as we see the magician character Luke Blade.
"Maybe..." I say, figuring I'd see his name in the credits at the end of the show.

We continue to watch, and, at one point, two of the detectives enter a magic shop, looking for an item in particular to help them with the case. The magic shop owner talks to them, and gives them said item in particular, then off the detectives go.

"Mmm..." I purr. "He had a yummy accent..." I say, referring to the shop owner.
Thad lifts his head from his game and looks at me, then smirks.

The show ends, and the credits roll by too swiftly for us to tell if Luke Blade was played by Chriss Angel, and we couldn't seem to get our DVR to work properly enough to rewind the episode.

So just now I looked it up. Sure enough, Luke was indeed played by Chriss Angel. And while I was on the subject of looking that up, decided to look up who played the man with the yummy accent.

His name is Alan Smyth. Born in... Yep. Ireland. <3 Also played in an episode of Leverage! (I remember the Irish Loan Shark! Must. Rewatch. Episode!)

*fans self off* I love me an Irish accent. <3 <3

irish accent, yummy accents, accents
