Random futbol babble.
It seems that Real Madrid beat FC Barcelona for the Spanish League title (the link leads to a massive picspam post from ONTD). We went and saw a Barca game while we were in Barcelona, so I feel like I should have some sort of allegiance to them (yes, after one game). However, I've always had a soft spot for Beckham since he was captain for England for several years, so I'm glad he's ending on a high note. Plus, he's prettier than Ronaldhino.
The big question is, why are Posh and Becks hanging out with Crazy Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes? My soft spot for Beckham extends to his family (how adorable are his sons in full football gear?), and I don't want that to be tainted by fucking Tom Cruise.
Toronto recently got its own FC, and I've been somewhat following their progress. While it's not European football, this is the closest we're ever going to come to having a "real" team of our own. I actually want to go to a game this summer, and I'm sure the tickets aren't ridiculously priced like Leafs tickets. I'm a diehard Leafs fan, but I'd love to see this team succeed and gain popularity in the city.
Other randomness: I'm not a big shopper, but I can't seem to shake this shopping urge since I've gotten back. Basically, I want a new wardrobe. If only.
