Best pre-birthday week EVER.
1) HBP comes out in 2 days! Wheeeee!! I'm trying to reread OotP before Saturday but it looks like I'm not going to finish it. (Please use cuts-tags when discussing spoilers or I will be cranky.)
2) Battlestar Galactica season 2 starts tomorrow night! OMG!
3) Screenings for the early cut of HP: GoF (the movie) has been positive so far. YES! Words cannot describe how happy this makes me.
4) The hockey lockout is over! FINALLY! I will get my Leafs fix next year!
5) I've decided to go to the Mariposa Skating show. Bweee!
6) The Emmy nominations are out and Scrubs and Zach Braff are finally nominated! FINALLY! However, John C. Mcginley was snubbed. Again. If you've nominated Scrubs, then that means you must have watched a couple of eps and know how much he brings to the damn show. Gah! I had so much hope for Veronica Mars (or at least for Kristen Bell since she owns that role) to earn a nomination, but gee, what was I thinking. A teen noir/drama show is below the Emmy watchers apparently. Kind of like Lauren Graham and Gilmore Girls. What gets me is that Jennifer Garner got nominated; I love her, but I certainly don't remember any outstanding performance from her this season, yet KB got overlooked when she's been brilliant all season. I'm also upset that Victor Garber didn't get anything either (for Alias, because really, guest starring in Will and Grace? Eh.) Anyway, back to the positives: Zach Braff! SCRUBS! Hugh Laurie! Terry O'Quinn! TAR! All those Arrested Development noms! (Just finished watching season 1 and I can't believe it took me this long to get into it because AD is some funny shit.)

I'm sick. The throat no longer hurts to the point where I lose my voice, but my nose has started running.
School during the summer is no fun at all. I'm procrastinating like mad and I can feel it biting my ass.
There is no end to this heat wave in sight. Sigh.
