I finished re-watching Firefly and I enjoyed it even more the second time around. It was good on the first viewing, but I've really come to love and care for the characters this time, to the point where I ache and cry with them. Now I'm longing for more, and I can't believe they cancelled such a fabulous show. Can it be September 30th so I can watch the Big Damn Movie already?
Another favourite conversation (well, it's really Tracey's monologue but Zoe completes his message), this time with beautiful imagery to go with it (from The Message):

This comic cracks me up, but really, I don't want any spoilers regarding the movie or I will kill someone.

- Brooke Shields speaking out about her postpartum depression after Tom Cruise's interview. A nice smack down to Cruise's "argument".
- EW's take on Jen Garner and Ben Affleck's wedding. I laughed my way throughout the whole thing. My opinion on the nuptial: if she's happy (because goodness knows I don't care about him), then good for her.
- Make Poverty History: sign the Live 8 List to let your voice be heard.
- Bush rejects Kyoto-style G8 deal. "... But he conceded that the issue was one "we've got to deal with" and said human activity was "to some extent" to blame." To "some extent"? Are you fucking kidding me? Human activity IS the reason behind global warming and the deterioration of our planet. Technology isn't going to solve all our problems and everyone needs to cut back, even if it affects the economy. Call me crazy, but I rather have a healthy earth in the future than a booming economy with a planet we can barely survive on.
And I'm out. Hope everyone had/has a wonderful long weekend (Canada Day/ Fourth of July/ insert your own holiday.)
