The repeat, bludgeoned to death headlines on the airport headline news channel is driving me insane.
To counter that, I read a fairly humorous thread regarding trash collection in my current place of residence. (The highlight was when far down in the thread someone suggested this should become an epic poem on [town]'s trash collection entitled: "On _____ day, it came.")
To redeem my usual negative feelings towards the media (particularly after experiencing the airport headline news channel's gruesome parody of a "real" news channel by running even more repeats of the same stories over and over), I watched a two year old girl make her way down the length of the terminal by doing a series of step-step-step-LEAPs, punctuating each LEAP (y'know, a leap for two year old legs) with an exuberant YAY!
Priceless.
I can't wait to be home.
