The internship is finished and I am one step closer to having my degree. (The thesis defense is the final obstacle in my way.)
It was a wonderful, wonderful experience. I unexpectedly found myself falling in love with the east coast and found I learned a hell of a lot, both academically and personally. (An awesome, if intense experience.)
Now the ongoing adventure to find a job continues while I figure out what to do in between now (internship over) and then (finding a job and/or my apartment lease running out). It's moments like these when I realize a lot of adulthood consists of Making Shit Up As You Go Along. I'm not sure graduate school and both my school and hospital internships could have prepared me any better.
