Plz to not be assuming I feel the same emotions as you would moving away from here. It makes me feel awkward and a little rude to correct you when I say I'm actually really excited rather than scared/afraid/depressed. It also reminds me that you and I don't know each other well at all and makes any attempt on your part for a sad goodbye seem rather surreal, fake, and unnecessary.
