Movie night
Last night we went to see District 9. Walking out of the theater, I reflected that it was a well done, powerful and thought provoking movie. However, I am not sure that I can say that I "liked" it. The thoughts it provoked were not always comfortable ones.
How to describe it without giving away the whole thing??? My stab is: some Alien Nation, some Blackwater corporation in Iraq, a bit of Hotel Rwanda and a lot of United States history of interactions with the Native Americans.
This will be a movie that people either love or hate, I don't see a lot of middle ground in how people perceive it.
