USM Protest!!
USM has a huge event happening this Wednesday Oct. 5 at 4pm on the Masterton Hall Steps on the Portland Campus. Michael Heath Executive Director of the Christian Civic League is coming to our campus. He is speaking in a room that fits only 150 people, he is censoring questions and he is not allowing a debate. Since he is not helping to educate student by allowing students to ask questions and to hear both sides we are protesting.
This event is going to be positive in nature. We will have chants, cheers and faculty speakers. Tons of posters will be distributed. We need you there to support NO on 1. To show the media that we mean business, that we are professional and that we will win. End Discrimination, show your support. We hope to see you there!
