Here's to Somewhere Else Aka "Somewhere" "Scumwhere" "Scaryoke".
That was a bar I will miss, it was basically my social life for the last two year. I have had so many ups and downs at that place. It's hard to discribe the magnitude to what that place ment to me, it wasn't just a bar folks it was what I did on the weekends, it was where I saw my friends that I never get to see during the week, it was where I could do my booty bounce and now it is closed:( In Feb. we lost sisters and last Tuesday we lost Somewhere Else.
Tons of rumors going around about it opening up again in a dif. location, possible DJ Kate is opening a women's bar? I dunno but if anyone hears anything else let me know.
For all the friends that I met at Somewhere that I don't see on a regular basis please keep in contact.
It's been a hard loss but we all had to take it together. I wanted to leave Maine before but now it is just a countdown to get out of this crappy ass state.
