HEYYYY. Megacon. I have pictures. Of course you want to see them, right? Right. ♥
This post is not dial-up friendly. PICTURES EVERYWHERRRRE. And some of them are big because I got lazy and didn't feel like resizing them all the way, oops. BASK IN MY LAZY. 8D
ANYWAY.
OKAY SO. Hardly anyone's seen my Cosmos costume yet, so I'll put a picture of that first. xD
While I adore this costume - it's one of my more accurate ones, haha - it is a bitch and half to get around in. It gets pretty thin towards the bottom, so I have to hike it up around my knees to walk. And I could only walk very, very slowly in tiny steps. Now I know why she teleports everywhere in the game.
Speaking of walking, MY FEET. MY FUCKING FEET.
I had these gorgeous heels that I spent two weeks breaking in. I take approximately ten steps out of the car and CRACK. One of the heels break. Just snap. I had no way to fix it, so I broke the other heel figuring, hey, they can be flats. But of COURSE since they were heels, they were all discombobulated and whatnot. I spent the entire con barefoot.
This was accurate since Cosmos is barefoot - you can't tell in game, but you can tell in the character model in the Museum - but even so. I managed to get a blister even though I was barefoot. Figure that out. xD
Not to mention, oh god. The staff was apparently on drugs or something because they gave us completely wrong directions to the shuttle back to the parking lot. When we left - and this was after walking about seven hours around - we had to walk approximately two miles back to the bus stop. Normally this wouldn't be such a big deal, but I couldn't wear the shoes. So yeah. I was barefoot. It failed. *dies*
I tried not to complain, but ugh. I couldn't really contain myself after all that walking. My legs are still in sooo much pain. The three hour car ride home was a relief. x_x
ANYWAY. THE FRUITS OF MY CONVENTION LABOR, aka pictures. My dad, my friend Diana, and I all took some and I stole some of their pictures, so that's why they might be a little bigger/weirder quality than normal. xD

Pikabelle and a friend of hers? Okay, the thing is, I've been a fan of Pikabelle's for years. I LOVE her costumes and they're always inspirational to me. Plus, I love Pokemon. xD She was at Metrocon, but I missed meeting here there so I was sooooooo happy to meet her here. a;lskdfj SHE WAS SO NICE ♥ I told her that I was a huge fan and she hugged me and said she loved the detail on my costume. I GOT COMPLIMENTED BY PIKABELLE MY LIFE IS AWESOME SOMETIMES ;lsifz;lskdf ♥♥♥
element_43 and kanisi_kokoro's Hetalia group. They were Canada and Italy respectively, I believe. /o/ It's funny, I know zilch about Hetalia. All of my meager knowledge about it comes from people cosplaying. xD
And in the short time I got to hang out with them (sorry I vanished, I realized I had to find my dad and then I tried to find you guys again but fff I fail), they got in a group pose three times. I asked them how many times they'd done it and Caroline replied, "About seven or eight." xD I really need to find a cosplay group ffff.

Diana and her box 'o manga. She had a backpack full of them as well. She now owns over six-hundred. I've got to take a picture of her bookcases someday. It's like something out of a bookstore.
This Terra was so cute. *____* The friends she was with apparently have never played Dissidia, because she had to explain who I was. They asked what game I was from and I said that Cosmos was the only original character in the game. THEN they got it. xD

Though I got a ton of compliments on my costume - one woman just stood there with her eyes all bugged out going, "WOOOOOOOOOOOW" for a full thirty seconds xD - not many people actually recognized me, except for the FF people and this one dude who jumped and said, "I'VE GOTTA GET A PICTURE WITH THE GODDESS!" ♥ So it was a little disheartening. Oh, well. I'm very proud of this costume even though I could hardly walk in it. I'll have to fix that. >>;
And I didn't buy anything except a birthday present for my dad, sigh. They did have some FF13 stuff, but it was soooooooooooo unbelievably expensive. Boo. I'll have to find the Snow figure for you on ebay, Bouncy. >3
