Futures
Jason's sick. Today after shopping with Marion, I went to his work because we were supposed to meet there and then see a movie but they told me he had gone home. So I went over to see him and it turned out he was really sick. He told me he hadn't eaten all day so I made him some pb toast and warm milk and tried to make him eat it lol. He ate most of the toast but I accidently spilt the milk on him, haha he says I shouldn't be a nurse. We fought about me going home so he could sleep. He didn't want me to go, but his mom kept saying he needed sleep and I didn't feel welcome so I wanted to go home. We ended up napping for a half hour and then he walked me to my car. What a sweetie.
When I got home I severely missed him. After all, it'd been a week till I saw him tonight. He called me later and we chatted. At my work, when men are looking for their spouses they always ask me if I've seen "their better half". I hadn't heard that expression till I started working there and it cracked me up when I did but that really is what Jason is for me.
On other matters though, right now I'm reading this book about Scotland in the 1800s, the Outlander series. It's really good, I love it - I'm on the last book. Hopefully my antique bracelet will be done getting fixed at the Peoples in Whiteoaks soon. My god, they have beautiful jewellary in that store. I saw this cream-coloured pearl choker there that I fell in love with and there was this little gold ring with tiny sapphires and diamonds there too that I thought was the most adorable thing I've ever seen... this is why I have no money haha. Well anyways, it's almost quarter after 12 so I'm going to bed now. I'll have to write about tonight in my other journal tomorrow. *kisses* ~Ash
