OK. FWS are now a locked, Friends Only post. If you want to be in on those freaky work stories, you have to be in on my friends list. Also, I still will only post vague information as I do not want to violate HIPAA... and that isn't anyone's business anyway. (Here is what HIPAA is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_Insurance_Portability_and_Accountability_Act) For the record, I really don't know/care WHO my patients are, what they do for a living, what their race, gender, sexual preferences, religious status, etc.... I have such a crappy memory anyway, I can't even tell you who worked the shift before me much less who these patients are. Lastly, why should any of that crap matter anyway? If a person is sick, help them. If they're faking, send them home. If they're a pain in the ass, call the cops and/or psych ward. There is no need for any of the BS. But then, I digress. I am not a bullshit person.

Speaking of bullshit, I posted this on Facebook recently:
If you want me to know something, tell me. I don't pry or beg to be "in the know". If I ask you a straightforward question, give me the same in an answer. I don't play head games nor do I want to have my head messed with. Thanks.
Of the 90+ people on there that are my friends or family, the only ones who commented or noticed it were the ones who this is not meant for. I wanted my cousin PSV and her kids to see it. None of them noticed. I know I shouldn't be surprised - all of them are so self-absorbed. *Rolls eyes*

I did nothing of importance for my birthday. Thanks for all the notes, emails and things. It means a lot to know some people still care. An email is a virtual gift. :) My two coworkers printed out two posters for me and posted them in the lab. LOL That was awesome. Both also had WAYYYY too much chocolate/brownies as they were really hyper. It was funny. :D

I haven't much else to say, really. More arty fartsy. Need to make some "thank you" cards. Also want to doodle.

A question, though. The octopus from yesterday's post, did you like that? Was it too cute? Was it funny? The reason I ask is because I was thinking up more octopus characters and I think they'd be a hoot. Even if all I did was to make octopus doodles/ artist trading cards/ tarot deck/ whatever. Commentary appreciated.
