How can a person confuse a bottle of acetone (nail polish remover) for a bottle of water? I dunno but it happened. Yeah, at work. It's sad really.

The news is totally freaking me out. Now there was a shooting in Wisconsin at a Sikh temple. WTH? Sikhs aren't any type of terrorist organization to my knowledge. This kind of thing baffles me. (Sikh is pronounced "seek", btw.) It is said (on cnn.com) that the shooter was an army vet who was a white supremacist. Great.
A moving quote from cnn, "I just never thought it would be at a temple, at a place of worship. I don't want people to have to carry a gun at a place of worship," said Kaleka, who added that he could have been at the temple during the attack, but for the fact he had stopped at a bank "randomly to make a deposit."
"Why can't people just show each other love and care and treat each other as humans?" he asked.
His uncle was killed in the attack. The man fought with the attacker. An unarmed, older man fighting an armed, military veteran. Good lord. And the whole racism thing just is so stupid. But then, I have African family members so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about or I'm a little biased. I just don't see what skin tone has to do with anything. Also, Sikhs are not Muslims... and even if they were, it is not every Moslem is a terrorist. (I really need to read the Qur'an. It seems like it has good ideas, just like the Bible and Torah.)
