(no subject)
I am awake. I have been for about 20 hours. Got a lot to do and only a short time to cram it all in.

The comic strip is up, sort of. (I am not even going to start bitching.)
I noticed recently that if you wear one of my ceramic pendants, the paint will either smear or react to sweat. (This is for the watercolor ones, not the glazed ones.) I was at Joann Fabrics on Friday and found some little wooden discs. I painted a couple of them white (acrylic) to seal them and to give me a base to work on. I have one nearing completion. I painted a koi on it and did my weird squiggle stuff on it. Right now I have a bail (the part that hooks it to a necklace) attached to it with Super Glue and clamped together (ok, I used a clothes pin) so it will set. I will put a couple layers of clear coat lacquer over the painting. Once all that dries, I will give it a coat of clear acrylic paint for further sealing. I hope this works. If it does, these wooden discs are cheaper than the ceramic pieces.
Today I will probably just go wash my hair, maybe play a video game or just read. It's back to work tonight.
