ARGH! I have the hiccups! UGH! Shoot me!
WTF is going on? We had five or six crisis intervention patients tonight. Also had a patient who was "stabbed in the left leg". I didn't get to do any tests on him, though, so I don't have any specifics. Oh, and being drunk and passing out isn't an overdose. That's just being a drunk. However, we do have to keep them in the ER until they sober up. One patient who was suffering from "neurological problems" and "syncope" - only thing wrong was that he had smoked pot. Dude, isn't that the whole REASON to toke up!? The saddest thing is that one of our crisis patients is ten years old and has been in the same room since Sunday when I came in. I have no idea what's the matter but it's still sad. A ten year old kid should not be having a crisis - even if they are disabled in some way or not.
So yeah, work is still all nwioe#$&$jran@ kind of. (That is supposed to sound like feedback from an amplifier there.) I had two phlebotomists but they only had half a brain between them. One is learning. I hate not having a person who knows what they are doing. Even the phlebotomist that no one likes can do her job and even do it well on night shift. Poor girl has a speech problem... and I'm half deaf. We'll make a great team. :P At least, with her, I know what I'm getting. The current one isn't that sharp (though she is a good stick) and I have to babysit her. :S The one no one likes is an ok stick but I don't really have to babysit her. Just one more thing I have to be cognizant of while at work.
Ordered more pendants. Am going to finish an orange one today.
ART QUESTION: What is a good lacquer? My pendants require being clear coated/sealed. Currently, I have an old can of clear coat spray paint and it doesn't cover evenly. Is there a dipping sauce kind of thing to use? I may try coating them in a clear drying glue. Other suggestions?
