Went to my doc on Friday. I have developed a tremor, tingling and numbness on my right side. So far, it hasn't completely impeded me. Anyway, I will be undergoing tests to see what it is. Being tested for inflammed nerve, Lyme's disease, and some other stuff. Sometimes the shaking is worse than others sometimes it's only in one location. Of course, I noticed it as I'm an artist so I am very aware of my hands. Sadly, I am right handed. Anyway, will be going through the testing and hoping for the best (as in something that is treatable and not another f'ing autoimmune disorder, like the ulcerative colitis). MS does not run in my family (I have an aunt who married into the family who has it, though) but fibromyalgia does.
I spent the weekend doing artsy fartsy.
This is the third (maybe last) of the illustrations I'm doing for the Japanese recovery donation project. These things are so labor intensive. It's only the size of a postcard yet they take at least ten hours to fully complete (sketching to finish). 6" x 4" approx. Watercolors and ink on watercolor paper. Copyright symbol does not appear on original. Background was painted with sparkly watercolors while the crane and kanji (longevity symbol) are in matte watercolors.
I also drew the comic strip for today.
http://art-fumes.livejournal.com/ Yes, I know, it's a booger joke. Deal with it. >:D I like Rain's gag face and Lorin being all fuzzed out.
I plan on attending AnthroCon in June. The theme for this year is magic, like slight of hand and such things. I drew a comic strip for the con book as well. I hope that they will use it. I sent it to the committee this morning. No, I'm not going to publish it on my gallery until after the Con. Sorry. No peeking.
