Dear Geico,
Why do you think I am an idiot? I received your offer in the mail. When I turned over the envelope to open it, there in big, black letters, you had printed, "Open Here For Information". Do you really think I expected to open the thing and find Christmas cookies? Also, do you think that I do not know how to properly "operate" an envelope? On a side note, I hate Charlie Daniels. That's enough of a reason alone to not purchase car insurance from you.

And now for the return of FREAKY WORK STORIES!
Remember me talking about the loser who is SUCH a king-size loser that he can't even abuse "real" drugs and has to overdose on children's cough syrup? Yeah, 19-years-old and can't do heroin or anything like that. Has to abuse cough syrup meant for a 2-year-old. Big balls on that "man". (Yes, I meant to use quotes there. Just because he's male doesn't mean he's a man.) Anyway, he's really done it now. He is in our Critical Care area. He has sepsis and serotonin syndrome (which is where your brain's neurotransmitters get all screwed up from using too many drugs - as in over a period of time, drugs that are too strong or playing mix 'n' match with your meds). Nice. What an ass. He even has a kid. Yeah, I'm not calling him a "Dad" as he ain't one.
One patient was suffering from chest pain. Not sure how he got that as he was drinking and doing opiates. I thought both of those were downers. Oh well. He recovered and was sent home.
I finished my purple and green socks. Well, lavender and mint socks. They're warm. :) *Purr* Began to knit a scarf for someone who reads this but shall remain nameless.
Also, the bad feeling I had that the guy found dead in the local motel might be someone I know... well, in the paper today, the article mentioned that he had a daughter named Carol. HEC has a sister named Carol; she is the oldest of the three kids.
And for the true crime buffs, Joran van der Sloot confessed. You know, I am well aware that serial killers don't look like serial killers... but look at that guy! Doesn't he look like he'd be a serial killer?! Great Googly Moogly!
