On my way to work, I saw a weird light in the sky. It was orange and it flickered like a flame... except this was up in the sky. It also changed positions on the horizon, bobbed and weaved. Odd. Why do I always see this kind of thing? Anyway, it wasn't a star as it was overcast last night. It wasn't lightning. It may have been a plane/helicopter ( Read more... )

Yeah, fine... but you don't have to carry laundry/groceries/etc up a Stairmaster. :P

It is a built it weight lifting system. I have two flights of stairs for the laundry and 3 flights total in my house. :-)

Hey! What kind of laptop do you have? I am wanting a new one since the old one is too expensive to repair.

"The truth is up there!" Maybe the aliens sent you a message through your old fan? ;-)

*chuckles*.... that's the first case of fan Touretts I've heard of..but you make aa good case

you may just want to write into a fan repair guide with that information and get published

Fans don't handle "percussive maintenance" well. (This means, if it isn't working, you either kick or hit it.) After it fell off of the end table, it started to develop the nervous twitch and the Tourettes. The new one works well and has a lovely pitch to its hum.

You said it was overcast, right? Had it been lightning? Maybe it was ball lightning. That stuff is so freakin' cool!

Hm. I was under the impression that ball lightning was always blue... why, I don't know. I guess because of the Marfa Lights. Oh well. Whatever it was, it was cool. :D

I don't think it has to be blue, necessarily. I've seen some videos, and sometimes it's a reddish orange, sometimes yellow, sometimes white, and sometimes blue. I think the color of lightning more depends on temperature and atmospheric conditions. I should study up more on it!
