(no subject)
On my way to work, I saw a weird light in the sky. It was orange and it flickered like a flame... except this was up in the sky. It also changed positions on the horizon, bobbed and weaved. Odd. Why do I always see this kind of thing? Anyway, it wasn't a star as it was overcast last night. It wasn't lightning. It may have been a plane/helicopter but I've never seen them with orange lights, let alone one that flickers. So, your guess is as good as mine.
Work was worky.
Was looking for homes. Seems that the only thing in my price range is a row home or a double wide. Don't want to do a row home (reminds me too much of Mom's last house - plus I'm too fat to be doing that many stairs). Double wide/pop-up house, better idea. :) I don't know if I would want to live in a park, though. Working night shift, I will need my sleep... and trying to not kill a neighbor who is mowing their lawn would be too trying to me.
Speaking of sleep, last night, my fan developed Tourettes Syndrome. For a few minutes, it would function nicely (humming along) then it would CLACK GRRTZ CLACK CACK CCGRZTT which would wake me. Went to Wal-Mart after work and got a new fan. Here's hoping it knows a lot of nice songs to hum to me while I sleep.
Am now going to play games until I fall asleep.
Still thinking about the vacation. Will keep you posted.
