plants plants plants
I've been talking plants with larksdream, as you do. And it reminded me that omg I love plants so much, I should totally tell everybody in the whole world!
It is bags-of-bareroot-perennials-and-dahlias time at Costco.
Purchases so far:
- two 12" lilac bushes
- 8 pink coneflower, 8 white coneflower, 8 rudbeckia goldsturm
- 4 dicentra "king of hearts"
- 24 oriental lily
- 5 coreopsis moonbeam, 5 pink coneflower, 30 liatris
But I did not buy anything at all from the nice selection of large potted shrubs outside! Nor any of the berry vines!
Some of you may recall Costco as the reason I ended up planting 1200 bulbs last fall. I'm trying to learn from that experience. The problem with this scenario being that the experience was AWESOME.
