True story: he once hiked up a HUEG mountain in New Zealand when they were filming LotR in all his Boromir gear (armor, sword, everything) because he refused to take the helicopter up, cos he didn't like helicopters...although the real reason is that he's just MANLY AS FUCK. Also recently got stabbed in a bar fight, and decided to finish his pint instead of go to the hospital...because again, MANLY. AS. FUCK.
Also read in a recent interview he's thinking of getting a direwolf tattoo across his back.
