I just finished watching the movie
Creation, which is a story of the life of Charles Darwin and his struggle to console religion with science, his relationship with his wife, and the life and death of his daughter.
I started crying ten minutes into the film, and was bawling when it finished.
It was absolutely beautiful. Incredibly well done, wonderfully including notable quotes and looking very 'period'. But the story - oh! It was too beautiful for words how they pulled it off.
I adored everyone in it, and thought the woman who played his wife was incredible. The kid who played his daughter was talented beyond description, and she made me cry cry cry. I have snot all over both sleeves and pant legs, and next time I am bringing a box of kleenex to the theater.
It was fabulous and I encouraged everyone to rent it, bring it home and have tissues ready. Absolutely wonderfully done.
