“And, and, Gin is sooooooooo annoying!” Rangiku slurred, breasts spilling out of her shihakushou when she leaned over the table for the other cup of sake lying there.
“Because he’s always leaving. You said that ten minutes ago, Matsumoto-san.” Nemu, no matter how much she drank at the Shinigami Women’s Association Meetings, never got drunk.
“Oh, pssh.” Nanao waved her hands in front of her face, clearing her throat. “Leaving is for lovers, like, ah, they say Shihouin Yoruichi left to follow Urahara-taichou when he left Soul Society, that’s real devotion there.”
“Shut up.” Soi Fong muttered darkly into her cup, a brooder, her, and everyone fell silent until Rangiku finished her next cup.
“Nanao-chan just says that because she wishes Shunsui would whisk her away~~~” The 8th’s vice spluttered and spit out her drink. Even Isane blushed crimson and covered her face.
“You shouldn’t say such things, Rangiku, about other women’s, ah, ah…”
“Desires?” Nemu chimed in.
“Y- yes, ah, you can’t just-” The 10th’s vice slung an arm around the 4th’s and laughed loudly.
“Isane’s just upset because shorter men intimidate her and all the taller ones are taken or creepy!” Isane blushed further, stifling it by covering her face even more.
Yachiru merely sipped her sake, swinging her feet.
Honestly, the way her organization presented itself. The small vice captain merely sighed. Maybe one day they would concentrate more on the important things, like fighting, instead of men.

Aizen & Nanao - “Why Didn’t He Choose Me”
Nanao was a devoted vice captain.
She files all her paperwork on time, and she gets things done. She keeps the division in line, keeps everything in order, and keeps it all running.
Her division is a well oiled machine, and while he lecher of a captain is its head, she’s its true ruler.
Watching Aizen Sousuke and the way he treats his vice captain, she almost wishes she was in Hinamori’s place.
She doesn’t wish it long.
