Oh all the crazy
WOW! This last week has been very...interesting in many different ways. I have experienced some things up until this point in y life I would never have thought possible. One of these said events was the movie extravaganza that is "Superstar!" It was thoroughly enjoyable and had me laughing a whole lot. Other stuff has happened as well but I won't get into that.
I went to see Pirates of the Carribean 2 yesterday.... well I'm not too sure what to say about it. I didn't find anything wrong with it and in fact I thought that it was probably better than the first but I'm not sure if I like the whole random love-triangle thing. It was a bit strange, but HEY!! who cares. Not to mention if I were in Keira Knightley's position I would much rather be with Johnny Depp, I mean really, srsly he's a man-beast.
ANYWAYS, on to a different and less homo-erotic topic, I will be seeing a play up in Nanaimo this Saturday and one of my family friends ended up landing the lead role. So yeah, seeing as I have never seen "Fiddler on the Roof" I'm sure that it will be pretty kick ass.
So what's with the whole Israel bombing A UN building? Do they really want a third World War to erupt and bitch smack them up. I'm not sure how long the US would back them up if they started going all "Holy Crusades II: The Christians Strike Back" because, despite their extremely close military ties I think that the US may have some ethical stand points to fall back on... I said MAYBE. From the standpoint of Israel protecting themselves and never having lost a war for something like 50 years, lets look back on the Japanese during WW2. They too thought that because they had not lost a major military battle against an enemy for one thousand years, that's right 1000 years, that they would be able to ass-handle the US and any one else that opposed them. They were wrong.
Enough ranting about possible WW's or what not, BUT, before I leave that topic for good I must point out this one fact, if conscription is re-enacted I am heading for the hills. I mean literally running as fast as my little chicken white boy legs can carry me, either that or G-Gar, I believe that it is up to either you or Terry to do it, I need you to hammer my knee caps into oblivion, and I mean Oblivion. Well all that said and done I guess it's safe to say that I'm not a big proponent of armed conflict.
I've been writing some things, poetry mostly but I did start penning done some ideas for a story as well. Unfortunately though, despite my efforts, I don't think that anything I have written that goes along the lines of a story has been worth reading. I guess I just don't have it in me yet to write anything good, maybe all I need is some good inspiration..... like snakes....on a... plane, NAH that sounds too much like a movie Samuel L. Jackson would star in. Guffah!! Who would watch a movie about Snakes on a Plane anyway.
Well now that I have probably just signed my own death warrant I'll be heading off into this good night and maybe I will have a chance to see some people from a long, long time ago, possibly from a galaxy far, far, away.
