Finally seeing some movies lately. Ninja Turtles was amusing, a lot like a sequel to the 90s films. Really hyped up the family emphasis of the original comics / 2002 cartoon, also.
The Last Mimzy was cute. Gotta say, I wouldn't declare that my family needed to 'get help' simply because my kids were suddenly smarter, only to freak out further every time a medical or mystical expert tried to describe what was happening. And if my children's toys were giving them special abilities, tearing them away from them and putting them in the trash would not seem the reasonable solution. Finding out what the hell was behind this would.
And happy birthday today to Ewan Macgregor, who can make me happy using only his Episode One dialogue for pete's sake.
