Put in those terms, it makes me wonder where I'd go. I'd always sort of coughed and said *Gryffinclaw* or *Ravendor* or something equally silly. But based on this very interesting way of categorizing the houses, it seems that I'm probably more likely somewhere between a Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff.
Well, that's the thing. It's not just about the brains. It's not just about the knowledge. It's why you want the knowledge. The Gryffindors want to get OUT there, get involved, etc. Ravenclaws just find the subject(s), whatever subject(s), fascinating.
I'm not saying all Ravenclaws are Luna Lovegood. I hope even I am more socially adept than that. I think a good portion of gifties are Ravenclaws, and we certainly manage fun sociability. It's just a matter of being wrapped in in the world of the mind, often to the deteriment of more practical matters. It's why Hermione's not a Ravenclaw.
Man!! I am sooo glad I wasn't the only one who was disappointed with Lois Lane!! I mean, what was up with the line, "How many F's are there in the word catastrophe"? She's supposed to be a reporter who won a Pulitzer for goodness sake and she has never used a word like "catastrophe" before??? Whatever.
