That's where we are

I was supposed to work in the student center until 2 a.m. tonight, but the overtime event ended early, so I got to leave at 1:15. That was splendid. Not that it would have mattered, considering I am sick of getting bored at work, and brought not only all of my homework, but also lots of music, a book, a magazine, dinner, and my laptop along with me tonight. So I would probably be doing the same thing there that I'm doing here now, except I'd be getting paid. Oh well. I have to be back there tomorrow morning anyway. Death to weekend marathons in the SC. I've been busy as hell (what else is new?), thus why I've neglected my poor journal. It's been so good to me through college and I neglect it. Speaking of college, let's address that I'm getting old. I'm buying my cap and gown on Monday. What the hell is that about?? I don't have any real plans after graduation, except working at Marita's (hoping they have shifts for me) and going to law school so that one day I can become an agent. I'd really like to be a sports agent, but most male athletes have male agents... unless of course I can flirt my way into better contracts for my clients with the other males who are in charge of all the organizations I'll be negotiating with. That'd work out nice. Honestly, it's not that I'm some derelict who has no ambition or direction in life. It's more that I have too many interests and could see myself doing a lot of different things, and I just haven't had the time to sit down and think seriously about what I want to do. The closest I get is these elaborate meetings with my advisor and my advanced project professor, but they usually throw things at me and ask a lot of questions that usually confuse me more. I usually leave said meetings wanting to stare at the wall for an hour and digest what just happened. Ah well...
In happy news, THE JETS GOT LAVERANUES COLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DELIGHT OF DELIGHTS!! Can I tell you how I elated I am?? And CHAD offered to take a 2 million dollar pay cut just so they could get LC back. OH CHAD!!! LOVE. What a guy. ANYWAY...
I slaved like a bitch this week for ESPN... let's be real, I AM their bitch. I do the website, I rarely ever leave on time, and I run errands all over the city... not that I mind that bc I like to pretend I live there. And even though I worked almost 12 hours on Thurs. for them (yeah thanks), I got to do this cool Knicks charity bowling event at Chelsea Piers. I got free food, got to mingle with celebrities like Spike Lee and met John Starks and this dude from the Sopranos, and I got free food. Obviously most important. Oh and I discussed the Jets offseason moves with Brandon Tierney which was exciting for me because he gets to interview Chad a lot. Ha. And he's a nice guy... drives like a madman though. Anyway, I have the plague... it kinda blows... a lot. But I'm getting better. God bless Derek and Barbara who dealt with my sneezing on Thurs. night... more so Derek though who had to do things with me all day.

Ok apparently I'm going to the diner now... how bout it.
