Mom's house, that is. Except for the bedroom set I have to call one guy to come get, and the bedroom set going to the museum. The Salvation Army guys came to get everything else today -- the organization may suck, but the drivers are aces. They were much impressed that I offered to help them load, said they couldn't let me help for liability reasons (and indeed, for one awful minute while they were loading the couch, it almost fell off the ramp and smushed one of them, but they caught it in time.) But I was the only person they'd been to that day who'd even offered to help, apparently, and I think it influenced them to take even the boxes of junk I expected them to reject, so yay.
When I got home after waiting around at Mom's all morning, I had to wait around here for the termite guy to show up (we found some of the sneaky bastards burrowing up through the bathroom floor through the crack where the drain was moved when we remodeled the bathroom a couple of years ago.) But I got some cleaning-up done, and moved the old plastic table and chairs off the front porch, as part of the plan to eventually replace them with a nice bench or something.
Since I've been on vacation, for the last few days I've had the opportunity to grind like mad for Nocturne eggs over at Flight Rising. I've found six so far, and hatched four (saving the other two for the color wheel expansion.) Two are keepers (a pink/lavender/rose female and a silver/black/royal male) one I'm iffy on (swamp/grey/white male), and the fourth (green/mulberry/god help us sky female) I may sell, since I can't find any gene combination I like with it, and I'm not sure I want to shell out for a scatter scroll when that's such a crapshoot. Nocs are my favorite dragon type, but I don't have the room in my lair for an infinite number of them, and I could easily collect another half-dozen eggs before NotN is over. So if anyone is over there and hasn't had the opportunity to grind, and wants a first-gen Noc cheap, lemme know.
