Stuff
Mom is doing as well as can be expected. I'm going to be sleeping at her place for several weeks at least, though I can come home during the day to log in to work. I've tried bringing up the subject of assisted living again several times, but she just doesn't want to hear about it. From the home care prices I've been quoted so far, while it is technically cheaper, when you factor in that she'd still be paying for groceries and utilities and what not, whereas all that would be included in the cost of assisted living, it's more of a toss-up. For now, I can handle the things she needs done. I don't know how long that will remain the case. :(
