sights-alined left for Canada today.
I think it gets harder every time, but at least we know this wait won't be a long one if the plan goes okay.
Pretty much all of her stuff is still here so it's all ready for next time.
It gives me this weird impression that she's only stepped out for a moment and she'll walk back in any time now.
It's comforting but it makes my heart ache too.
My mum called me this afternoon to ask how I was taking it.
I was holding out okay with short answers up until I realised she was crying, so of course I started too.
It was a bit funny and a bit sweet and I'm really glad they get along so well.
Will have to get around to posting some photos.
