FEEEED MEEEEE!!
I'm overwealmed with a burstin' hunger for inspiration.Too much stuff I wanna do,not a clear enuff head to know where to begin.It's like my brain is spinning in my skull and it's giving off sparks from the friction but no fire has started,so I've been perusing the internet,shufflin' thru magazines and glareing at the tv screen in hopes of finding the gasoline to ignite those sparks into some co-heesive slab-o-greatness.My current food for thought?Well,Sleazegrinders website(http://www.sleazegrinder.com),a bowl of salty popcorn,a second viewing and tapeing of "The hOwling 2"on cable,many cigarettes,Maxim magazine and a refreshing gander at some of my old sketchbooks.I've got the rock n' rolls again so tomorrow I have made a commitment with my Les Paul copy & my Ibaneez Iceman to play with them and try to tweek out some new or improved old Ragztoonz.
Should've went out with Rockitqeen to catch Def Leppard at The Mandalay Bay but frankly I'm enjoying just hangin' at the Ragzpad in my old hospital socks and my KISS bathrobe and tossin' ideas to me,myself & I.Did chat with The Rockitqeen about starting up a new and improved Media Babies Entertainment for 2003,which was bantered about with fellow MB co-horts Roy Walters & Shawn "Bolton"Colton a few weeks ago in my tequila inspired haze.It's hard to explain what I would like it to be,so best think of it as a mix of Image comics,The Beatles' Apple Label,Stomp Tokyo and Something Wierd Video for this lost generation of writers,artists,musicians and dancers known as my friendz & I.Just finding it becoming more & more of a reality that my fantasy self must be ressurected.It's the only way to survive in a world controlled by corporations who have lost touch with what made them what they are today to begin with.Money is the root of all miss-spent evil.
This "Howling 2" movie is just plain dreadful,but it has midgets,Christopher Lee & plenty of boobage in it,so it's not a total waste of time.Betcha Chris Lee is happy to make a real living again after having to play in these "so bad they're not even a good bad"kinda movie with his newfound success from the Star Wars movies & Lord Of The Rings.Heard rumours he may be in the next Harry Potter flik too.Good for him.He's the last(and only one still alive)of the great horror film actors.His Dracula would wipe the floor of that prettyboy Dracula from "Dracula 2000".
Starting to compile my list for the 2002 Media Babies Awards-my picks for the best and worst of the year(wow-nothing like having my opinion of the year forced upon you),most likely they will be posted shortly after the beginning of the year.
I'd be happy to see what all your picks are also.
Oh,and the best part of the Howling 2 movie is that they have a montage of all the best boobie n' eye poppin' gore while the credits run at the end!
That's what should happen every night before going to bed-a montage of the days events while the credits scroll by.
