RAGZ DESCENDZ INTO DRAGONTOWN-THE SPECIAL EDITION!
After a long n' grooling week of suffering thru what you peoploidz call "reality",Rockitqeen,T-T-T-T-Terry Bomb & I took a much needed trip to Dragontown,courtesy of ol'Uncle Alice-Cooper that is,the king of shock-n-roll!!After getting lost on the road somewhere we got there just in time to catch a few toons by ex-Guns N'Roses geetarist Gilby Clarke,who alwayz knowz how to rock the place.He mentioned he'd be at Pink E's later on,so we knew where we were goin' after the show!
The Coop show started with the strains of the musical score from the original Godzilla movies and then he appeared,ready to whip us into a frenzy-punishing us all for bein' the bad little dissobediant followers we are by cranking out classic toons,new stuff and everything in-between!I saw the show last year,basically the same set up,a few different songs tossed in,such as "Trash" & "I Never Cry",he had a few different people in the band such as Eric Dover on guitar filling in for Ryan Roxie(who had to drop from the tour due to his wifey having a baby).Man it was a blast,Alice never dissapoints!And of course the end of the show is worth the price of admittance-with a very special guest appearance from Britney Spears!Course,those who know Alice knowz that no one is to share the stage with him,and those who do always meets a dastirdly(did I just spell that wrong?)end.
We are not worthy!!!
After the show we zoomed out to Pink E's to catch up with Gilby Clarke again,who opened the set with my very favorite Cheap Trick song "He's A Whore"and he didn't let up once-blastin' our ear drums out with renditions of John Lennons' "Cold Turkey",a few Stones toons,a few toons of his own and of course the songs that made Rockitqeen smile with satisfaction-the Guns N' Roses covers.Speaking of GnR,they've decided to play some showz here in the U.S.finally and Rockitqeen & I may be taking a trip back to my hometown of Detroit Rock City to see them and hang with my family for a few dayz too.Yay!!
So I've been rejuvinated with the rockin' pnuemonia & the boogie woogie flu thanx to Alice & Gilby,just what The Ragzter needed!Thanx to Rockitqeen & T-T-T-Terry Bomb for making it a fun night all around!I luv you guyz!!Whoo hooo!!!
Current Viewing:"I Eat Your Skin"where a really annoying woman and a self proclaimed playboy take a trip to an island where bug eyed zombies run rampant.Not much skin eating going on and virtually not one likeable character in the movie,but fun regardless-especially viewing while playing with a fog machine in the Ragzpad!!
Current Reading:Punisher-Frank Castle borrows Reed Richards time machine so he can go back in time and kill Capone so he can get a decent nights sleep.Kinda lame,miss the creative team from "Preacher"who did the series earlier.Don't care much for those "going back in time"kinda stories-always was the lamest of the lame episodes of "Star Trek".
