INSTANT ARTWORK-JUST ADD BLOOD!

Sep 24, 2010 18:05

The thing about being an artist, or in my case, an aspiring one, is that most of your time is spent alone, hunched over a drawing board, lost in your own head and doodlin' in isolation.  Not much contact with the outside world, and very rarely an exciting event to watch. And even then, after the piece is done, it gets very little hoo haw. It's not an instant gratification from your audience, like in the old days when I was an aspiring rockstar. Course, I guess, I could venture into a more "performance art" aspect, which IS tempting, cuz people get more excited about watching a person create artwork than just taking a gander of it in some lame ass blog that they've stumbled upon. And if, say, I drew or painted with my own blood, or with poop or something while dressed in some upcoming Lady Gaga to be outfit, in public, I would git more recognition. Or at least some instant response.
Trust me, I've thought about it. Unfortunately, I probably would've gotten away with it when I was younger, but nowadays I guess it would appear pretty sad and desperate.
Still...
Anywhoo, so that just means I have nothing of any excitement other than random sketches, doodles and stuffinz.
Gander away!

First off, a post apocalyptic type vehicle I may plan to use in one of my comics.
It's hard to see, since it's on the rear of the vehicle, but the big round thing is an eyeball!
Eew gross!!

Speaking of eeewww! It's a monster from an old 1968 film called "THE GREEN SLIME!"

Another quicky sketch of HAWK from "BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY!"

The final version of my PLAZMO painting.

A sketch of SIN KITTY for a future painting idea.

I've gots more, but I'll save 'em for the next post!
Gotta go bleed for some art, now...

buck rogers, plazmo, green slime, sinkitty, ragzart
