DUDEZ N' DUDETTEZ!!
I'm back!
It's been two long internet free weeks since I last checked in with ya'all. As you can see from the pic above, my move from Sin City Las Vegas to Orange County, California hasn't changed me a bit. But,then again, I haven't even completely settled into the new surroundings yet, so who knows what adjustments and tweeking I'll be doing within' the next few months!
Most of it has been spent digging thru my massive collection of boxes where The Ragzpad is now dissected and packed into, trying to find my way around town and getting used to not walking around naked since I now share a house with more than just the wifey.
The last few days in Vegas were just miserable. The heat was around 105, but even worse in the former Ragzpad cuz the goddamn air conditioner went out. A step on the stairs leading up to The Ragzpad crumbled under the weight of a helpful Mexican neighbor that helped us move. My usual health problems kicked into high gear and overall, I slept probably a total of 4 hours in two days trying to get everything done so we could get the hell out of town.
But we made it and here I am, now living in Buena Park, California, just inches away from Knotsberry Farm and about an hour drive to L.A.
We finally got the internet plugged in, and I've been catching up!
And I hadn't even been here a week and already I've tasted a California earthquake! So it won't be long and I'll be hanging out with the Paris Hiltons, surfin' birdin' and getting High Colonics!
Not much artwork has been done due to trying to get situated and sorted out, but I did some sketchies for an idea tossin' around in my head for a comic called Frankenstein Planet. Here'z ya go-
Hopefully within' the next few days I can get my pasty white ass back to artworkn' before school starts up again in July.
Before we left for Cali, I was in search for the Theme Song for this new chapter in my life and how I managed to forget the tune "California Strut" by Walter Murphy and his disco mephisto orchestra beats the hell out of me. It has always been a fave of mine, and I've always wished I had an event for which to assign it to in the soundtrack to my life. It's been sittin' there all this time and it dawned on me a few days ago that it is THE song for event.
