Ooooo, I'm loopy. Loopy from only partaking in two hours of sleep. This workin' late and goin' to school early in the morning iz taking it'z toll. And then add the fact that I'm yet in another dreadful algebra class doesn't make it any better for yer ever lovin' blue eyed Ragzter. Why, oh why doth I torture myself so? Sure, at the time it sounded like a good idea to take my next algebra class so I could get it out of the way, only to repeat the same old horrendous torture on my feeble ol' squishy brain from just a few months back ago!
I should be doing my math homework now, but as mentioned earlier, I've only had two hours sleep and reality is just one big foggity fog fog, so fuck it. I'll do it tomorrow.
Right now I wanna obsess over a boxset I nabbed for cheap of the complete "Buck Rogers In The 25th Century" tv series from back in 1979.
I've only had a chance to watch the pilot and the first episode and I completely understand why I loved it so much as a young humanoid teenage boy.
From the first opening credits sequence, where we are treated with a wondefully cheesy Buck Rogers Theme Song, here with complete lyrics which I don't remember the song ever having had, over images of sci-fi clad babes rolling around in 70's porno lighting over the Buck Rogers logo, to the scantily saucy villianess Princess Ardala, and the Dave Cockrum inspired fashion tightly wrapped around Wilma, it is all too painfully obvious why such a young hormone soaked kid hadda watch it every week.
I mean come on...
Yeah, they don't make tv like this anymore.
Check out this website of more Buck Rogers stuff, but mainly so ya can catch the theme song in all it's gloriousness, sung by the one and only Kipp Lennon
http://members.tripod.com/cariart/BUCKROGERS.html Kipp Lennon, what a great name, only in the 25th Century could you mix the great talents of both Kip Winger and John Lennon and come up with a masterpiece like this!
