DRAWING OUT THE DEMONZ!
I really need to revamp the ol' Ragzdandelion Website. It'z pretty outdated and chock full of horrid movie reviewz. I'm just not a reviewer type, I don't have the snappy way with wordz to make a decent writer-that'z why I draw. I like to let my warped artistic pencil pimpin' fingerz do the talkin'. So, up on my "To Do List" for the summer iz to retool the website and make it more of a showcase for my artwork and various other creative endeavorz.
Speakin' of new endeavorz, I thought I'd try something different to flex my finger muscles and take a snappy from a movie and use that still az a basis for rendering it in my own Ragzterized way. Sort of an exercize for my drawing skills, to beef up on backgroundz,atmosphere and just plain ol' scene construction.
So I took this scene from the classic Bava horror film "Black Sabbath"-
and Ragzterized it into this-
I liked how it turned out. Sure the lamp is a little warpy, but heck, the Las Vegas heat and Monster Energy Drinks have a way of doing that to oneself.
I'm gunna be trying more thingz like this, it waz alot of fun.
I'm also gonna start pushing my art to more extremes, branching out and breaking down some barriers, tackling some more explicit subject matter. I think I hold back some, it needz to get a little dirtier,trashier,sleazier, nastier and sexier. We shall see, I don't know where exactly I'm going with all this but it'z time to start playing it less safe. I shall venture into the horrorerotica, the twisted and the disturbing. Ya might wanna keep a bottle of bleach nearby to cleanz the eyeballz out with if it gets too extreme. we shall see if I succeed or not. I don't claim to be the next Giger, but it'z time to stop playing it safe. Let'z get freaky!
That and I like drawing boobies.
