NO MUSIC,NO LIFE,NO JOB
One week left and I'll be outa the business of selling cd's and dvd'z to the numbskull public.No more pitching Linkin Bizkit cd'z to the kiddiez and El Josh Grobin Divo to the old fogeez.
It'z gettin' rougher n' rougher doin' time til' we all stroll down the Green Mile of retail,az the final countdown hath begun.Tho it soundz like plenty o' good riddancez and relief from the previously mentioned dunderheadz of media junkeez that hammer on the doorz awaiting the Tuesday new releases of garbage being cranked out by the major studios and record labels,it waz for the most part,a good ride.The regularz made it worth the while,meeting otherz with some semblance of independant thought and taste for something other than what they saw on "Oprah" the day before or what waz forced down thier gaping gullots(iz that remotely close to being spelt right?)from Carson Daily and his numbskull MTV pals.Lotsa friendz made,lotsa new music turned on to and lotsa wacky momentz with the best part of it all-the outcast children and the quirky miscreantz-that made up the Tower Family.
Yeah,soundz kinda syrupy and melodramatic,I know,but 11 yearz of sweating blood,sweat,tearz and hormonez conjurez up all that kinda stuff.It actually feelz like yer fave tv show iz nearing it'z finale,kinda like M.A.S.H.,except we wore purple hair,tattos,facial piercingz and band t-shirtz instead of army issued green.
But,enuff of that sappiness.
I've met a few celebrities thru Tower too.Off the bat I remember Fred Williamson,Elton John,Carrot Top,Alice Cooper,The Scorpions,Styx,My Chemical Romance,The Aquabats,Butch Walker,Dick Smothers,B.B.King,Tommy Lee,Garbage,Buckcherry,Carlos Santana and many others.Heck,just yesterday I saw Bill from "KIng Of The Hill" in the store,and thanx to my trusty spy camera,I nabbed this pick of him.It'z a lil' blurry,but it had to be him-
Maybe with the time I will have free I'll be able to work up some new tunez,catch up on my huge stack o' comics I need to read,do some major cleaning up 'round here and relax.
