Where the Downhill becomes the Uphill

I was happily stitching along on my embroidery during my lunch break, anticipating getting the rest of the current band finished today. And then I noticed that it wasn't matching up with the other cuff. Counting proved to me that I messed up about an hour's worth of work ago, before my last thread change.

I've heard that what divides adequate embroiderers from great embroiderers is the will to unpick what's wrong and make it right. I really hope that's so.
