Originally uploaded by Ragnvaeig. hobbitz was in NYC for a conference, so we met up Saturday, being as, while I'm no longer quite that close to Manhattan, I could at least make the trip in easily enough. Le Pain Quotidien was lunch and then we headed to the Met. It was fun poking around at the exhibits, as I've finally gotten to see some of the medieval pieces, though I didn't see any khipu in the Americas exhibit (may need to look harder). It's always fun going to museums with other educated folk who know a bit more than the object blurbs give you!
