a pseudo real update
Sorry for my hiatus. Life is crazy in my neck of the woods.
So...
I had my Up Til Dawn retreat monday. I found out that the goal is for me to interview and hire 30-40 people to be on my committee.... i am supposed to be the head of 40 people... on my own... no mary to bail me out... scary! I had oodles of fun with joelle. good times.
I had the SOS retreat Tuesday and Wednesday. Let's just say that i came home in a pair of pants that weren't mine, in a shirt that wasn't mine, and even in brand new underwear that i didnt buy... *scandalous*
...or my bags were forgotten in the union parking lot so i had to borrow clothes to wear on the second day. can i just say that i am so impressed with our staff?? can i? we came together AMAZINGLY. and... i have littles now... and the BEST littles ever!!! Tim, Marc, Lori, Jessi, and Beth. I can go on and on about SOS, so i will stop while i still have your attention. oh, and our bus broke down on the way home. :) but our staff bounced back like it was nothing.
Went to Baton Rouge thursday for the chili's dinner followed by a movie with john. it was good stuff even though i was soooo beat from this week.
Friday, I went to work crazy early and went through crap with my car, inspection sticker, and windshield. my family exhausts me...
Saturday richie and i left town in search of people to see. we ended up going to the mall of louisiana and coming home. the fruits of our trip: two Aeropostale tank tops for $22. Saturday night i met Tiz at chili's before i went out downtown with my parents, who had to sneak me into to jefferson st pub. (128 days until i'm 21!) then we went to mel's at like midnight.
sunday was larry's 50th party, liz's recital, and vegging. i think i passed out on the couch at like 9.
work 8-5 today full blast. i have a headache, my braces hurt (saw dr oubre this am), my back hurts, im tired, and im hungry.
i;ve been on a musicals kick. i also have felt the need to surround myself with people all the time. like, right now, im asking myself who i can call to come over, even tho richie is like a block away...
i know i got invited for kick ass plans next weekend... but i forgot what it was and who it was with... so, if we made cool plans... let me know!
