Hi!
Barnum has closed. We had a really respectable run and nearly sold out our last five shows. I think we may be able to make something of the place.
Anyway, I've not stopped being boring, hence no posting. Still looking for a second job. No one seems to like my schedule and "I can't, I have rehearsal" just ain't flying, for some reason. Rehearsals for the next couple shows have started at least, so the icky, post-show mourning period is tidy and short. And, ya know, I'm free to date my lead actor now, so that's alright. A little mind-boggling, but fun.
Went to the CalArts annual Holloween Party. No so much with the bacchanalian reverlry this year and the music downright sucked, but I still had a fine time. The PM makes one damn ugly woman, but bless him, he managed to wear heels almost the whole night. No photos of that, yet.
Nonetheless,
There's A World Shining With Light
The Act One Finale, "Out There." PT crosses the stage on a tight-pipe six feet off the ground on his way to an adulterous affair with a soprano. Not super trecherous, but still nerve wracking because getting all the pieces together took until the moment he climbed the boxes to start across.
This was taken from my tech position on the balcony at our last performance.
My Kind of Humbug's Disappeared
Strike is always beautiful. You've built this piece of theatre and made friends and memories and then you all get together and take it apart. It's really satisfying.

The party this year was very so-so, but I got to see and chat with everyone I wanted to, and be very not in my head. While wearing awesome, awesome things. Super thanks to Cavalaxis for the kind use of her hat.
Hopefully something interesting will happen (or, you know, I'll cause something interesting to happen) and I'll have more to talk about.
Well, I *have* painted my nails blue.
