I know this isnt the Audioslave group, and i have already posted about them, but I saw their performance at Berlin via AOL and they covered Killin in the Name. Now I have heard some bad songs in my day, but I must say, this song is probly the worst cover I've ever heard. Chris tried to use some kind of southern accent or something for his Zack

But what exactly did you mean, Killing's a studio song?..
I saw Audioslave at the Jimmy Kimmel free show in Hollywood a couple months ago, although it wasnt Zack on the mic, the crowd got crazy when they started up Killing. So much that they ended up having to cut short their free show cause of the fear from the pigs, that the barrier would come down under the push from the crowd. You can see footage of this in the new Audioslave video, Your time Has Come, at approx the 3:45 mark, they show cops holding back a small fence and another arresting some guy. Even tho, Zack wasnt there that night, the fact that the song was being played seemed to get everyone there pumped up. It f*ckn sucks he wasnt. You figure had it been a Rage show, there woulve been a hell of a greater pig prescence there or the show mightve not even been allowed to take place.
One thing I noticed for the Live 8 forums tho was how everyone was saying certain bands shouldve been added to the line up. Yet I was surprised to find that not a single person there seemed to mention anything about Rage playing there. You figure this being a bigtime political awareness event or whatnot somebody would mention Rage being there. Can you imagine the response Wake Up, Know Your Enemy, Take the Power Back, Township Rebellion or hell Killing would get there. Remember this was a free show.
The 2000 DNC was free too and that ended up gettting shut down by the pigs after Rage left. Rage at the Live 8 would've been epic.
