Call me crazy, but why are you getting contraceptives now? You won't need those until a couple of months from now, right?

Man... There's so much junk I don't know about, apparently...

well, the pill doesn't have the full contraceptive effect until the girl has been taking it for about one whole month. sometimes, like 10% of the time, there are bad side affects (sick stomach, etc), so if you have to switch pills then that takes even more time. thankfully i'm not experiencing any bad side affects so i'm just ahead of the game right now.
