The play, Hamlet, was written by Shakespeare in old English and made it so uncomfortable and annoying because I felt stressed out to read word after word and meaning after meaning to get the whole understanding of what the line or scene or even the whole play. After I hear William Shakespeare, I know for a fact this will be an unpleasing experience just because the way it’s written. I have a history of un-enjoyment of these particular plays but it is not just these…poems comes in these categories too. I knew if I had a film perspective then it would of helped me a lot better but still the movie that was chosen was another misunderstanding and I was just outraged by not having a clue what is was saying. Books may be the best way to understand it but films has always given me the best impact just because I am more of a visual learner. At times, I take two approaches when reading hamlet. One approach can be how I just am so annoyed by the choice that I have to read to class that I end up not doing it. Or the other approach is that I may not enjoy this topic but knowing that if I finish it sooner and taking the time to use my brain to understand the material that is given to me. The difference of the two approaches is that one can be an easy way out and the other is trying a little harder to understand the play. I remember when I was little I would always use my imagination but I try not to use it but rather look the bad side of it.
