CHALLENGE!
So, I'm about to pass out from lack of sleep and way too much work, but I so need someone to write this fic it's making me insane.
UncagedMuse, raemcn, Rae, bloody-bitch-of-insanity, whatever the frick you want to call me, is issuing this challenge to anyone who can write some Spuffy, AND NOT YOUR USUAL SPUFFY EITHER!
Background on idea: You see this darned, extremely evil plot bunny hopped it's way into my brain several weeks ago. I've had many of them...just because I can't write due to lack of time and energy doesn't mean the flipping ideas have gone away. So anyway, I actually posted my first ever challenge on an archive. Can you believe it? Years upon years of being in this fandom and I've never put up a challenge before on an archive? But so far no nibbles, which could be due to the fact that it's buried in the middle of the challenges or just the fact that it's not your usual Spuffy fair.
All that's neither here nor there, so let us get on to the actual challenge and hope someone sees the genuis and possible fun behind this that I do. I'm just gonna C/P it here from the orginal post for all. By the way, the name is actually up to any author who thinks it's fun and takes it on, as is most of the fic itself. There is only a couple of things I'd really like to see and only one don't so it is really up to the author how this pans out. Hell, that's part of the fun. Please link me to the fic if you decide to write it.
Time travel fic! I would like to see this start with Spike and Angel dying in the battle against the Senior Partners and Drusilla being struck with the pain and heartbreak of loosing her boys. In her crazed grief she is waiting to greet the next sunrise when a representative from the powers pops up and offers her the chance to keep her boys alive and happy.
This can be done any way the author sees fit. Drusilla could be given more lucidity by the PTB to accomplish the changes needed when she is sent back or the wonder loon can be as sanity challenged as ever and allow wackyness to insue. It can be comedy, drama, whatever the author feels.
MUST HAVES: (1) Drusilla being sent back to season 2 at the moment her and Spike first drive into Sunnydale. (2)Buffy and Spike falling in love of course with Drusilla’s interference to make sure it happens.(3) A more aggressive Spike. By this I mean I do not want to see a kicked puppy Spike who is mistreated by Buffy. I want Spike of season 2, but falling for Buffy. (4) Entire Btvs ensemble and PLOT DRIVEN PLEASE!
CAN HAVE: Dru getting a soul or not. Dru and Angel/us (as Angel or Angelus) together or not. But I would like to see Dru getting to be happy as well since she did do the time travel bit to save Spike and Angel.
NO NOs: No Bangel!
Everything else is fair game.
PLEASE, SOMEONE WRITE THIS FIC BEFORE I GO COMPLETELY NUTS WITH THIS PLOT THAT I SEEM TO NEVER HAVE TIME TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT.
