I had just stepped out of the shower when my husband asked if I spoke to his sister last night.
There was an accident with 4 boys riding dirt bikes in Mishnock yesterday.
I said nah, she would have called if it were our guys. He said yeah, you're probably right.
He had heard it on the bright and early news. He left for work, and I sat down to check out the internet.
I just hung up the phone with him. It was our guys. My sister in law is too shook up to call anyone. Two out of the 4 boys in the accident are our nephews. Josh is going to be 8, and Jake is 14. Josh has been motorcross racing for 2 years now and is top in his class. Awsome athlete. Jake can ride, tries to compete, but chickens out a lot. He lives with his mom and doesn't get to ride very often. Comes up here in the summer and rides with my brother in law. Our guys are ok, very upset and bruised, but none the less ok. Glenn said Tracey was really hard to understand and he isn't sure of the exacts, but he thinks the neighborhood friends of Josh (his friends are brothers) got the worst of it. He believes one of them is still at Hasbro in critical condition, and the other one didn't pull through.
I would love to hear nothing but good news for the rest of the week. So much pain and turmoil in such a short period of time. Bleh.
OK Lulu.....I'm ready to get loaded. Just tell ME when you can get up here.
